The Flag Was Right You Were Not Volleyball Dad Line Judge T-Shirt is a joke about one of the most common sideline situations in volleyball that every experienced volleyball father would be able to relate to. It features a line judge with a bright red flag (confidently held) standing next to the net with a volleyball underneath and the bold caption: “THE FLAG WAS RIGHT. YOU WERE NOT.”
A smaller banner reading “VOLLEYBALL DAD” completes the look.
The joke is simple: when a close ball drops on the boundary, suddenly everyone in the gym has an opinion. Players see one thing, coaches see another, parents react from the stands, but the flag is in the hands of the line judge.
